My dream is half way through

Updated: Jul 2, 2023

My childhood 'dream' for the future was to have a job that made use of my hobbies. At uni in Japan I studied communication including advertising, and my first job was with an advertising agency. There I studied marketing and became interested in computer graphics. After moving to Australia, I become a graphic designer.

After getting married and having kids, I couldn't return to this busy job with dead line oriented and was so occupied with children for four years when I discovered sugar crafting for my daughter's birthday cake was so fascinating and quickly fell in love with fondant modelings, especially figurine makings. Then gradually started to make one for friends or for community. That's how this business came about.

Eight years on, I have always told people that it is an extension of my hobby, but today I am changing my mind about turning it into a business, and today is surely the beginning of a new page. I appreciate I own a job that I really love, and have my own work space surrounded by art supplies. This is what I have been dreamed of all the time in my whole like. My dream is slowly though steadily coming true. Now I am looking to bring more and more people's faces a smile with my products, this is going to be the ultimate dream of mine.
